Presentation Titled “A Brief History of Jerusalem” Held

The event took place in the school’s conference hall and was hosted by veteran Vice Principal Cavit Erdem. After delivering a brief opening speech, Erdem invited Muharrem Güneş to the stage to present his lecture. Muharrem Güneş, who has been involved in educating and mentoring Jerusalem specialists, provided students with an overview of Jerusalem’s history. In his speech, he also referred to Saladin, noting that when Saladin assumed leadership, he did not immediately establish an army. Instead, he spent nearly twenty years organizing seminars and awareness programs about Jerusalem. Güneş emphasized the importance of such seminars and educational activities, stressing the need to cultivate knowledgeable experts from within the Muslim community. At the end of the program, students were invited to ask questions. The presentation concluded following a question-and-answer session.
